Last updated: October 17, 2026

QuickFixAZ ("we," "us," or "our") is a local device repair shop located at 4230 W McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85009. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit quickfixaz.com, request a free quote, or bring a device to us for repair, and how we use and protect that information. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our free quote form, we ask for:

  • Your full name, phone number and email address
  • Your device type, brand and model
  • The issue you are having and a description in your own words
  • An optional photo of the damaged device (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB)

Please only upload photos of the device itself. If the screen still works, avoid photos that show messages, notifications or other personal information. You may also share information with us when you email or call us, or when you visit the shop in person.

Information collected automatically

To help prevent spam and abuse, each quote request is stored together with the IP address it was sent from, your browser's user agent (a short description of your browser and operating system), and the page that referred you to the form. Like most websites, our servers may also keep standard technical logs of visits.

Information about devices left for repair

When you leave a device with us, we keep basic service records such as your contact details, the device you brought in, the work requested and the work performed. See section 6 for how we handle the device itself and the data stored on it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Review your request and respond with a quote
  • Communicate with you about your repair, including questions, approvals and pickup
  • Keep service and warranty records for the repairs we perform
  • Detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of our website
  • Keep our website working properly and understand how it is used
  • Comply with legal obligations

When you submit a quote request, we send you a confirmation email and send our staff a notification so we can follow up. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your quote request is stored on our server, and only our authorized staff can view it. We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. We use trusted providers to run our business, such as our website hosting and an email delivery provider that sends confirmation and notification emails on our behalf. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
  • Business changes. If our business is sold or reorganized, customer records may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items:

  • Session cookie. An essential cookie that keeps the website working correctly while you browse.
  • Security cookie. An essential cookie that protects forms on our site from cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We may also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure website traffic and understand which pages are useful. When enabled, these tools may set cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay and the general area you are browsing from. This information is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, although essential cookies are needed for features like the quote form to work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Google Maps

Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map. The map only loads after you click to show it. Once it loads, Google may collect information about your visit, and the Google Privacy Policy applies.

6. Your Device and Your Data During a Repair

We respect the personal content on your phone, laptop, tablet or console. When you leave a device with us:

  • Our technicians access the device only as needed to diagnose the problem and test the repair.
  • We do not copy, browse or keep your photos, messages, files or other personal content.
  • We may ask for your passcode so we can test functions such as the touchscreen, cameras, Face ID or Touch ID. If you prefer not to share it, let us know and we will explain which tests we can and cannot perform.
  • Please back up your data before any repair. Some repairs can result in data loss, and backing up is your responsibility.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep quote requests and service records for as long as we need them for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to you, honoring our warranty and maintaining normal business records. After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous. The spam-prevention details stored with a quote request are kept for the same period as the request itself.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can contact us at any time to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date
  • Ask us to delete your information

To make a request, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep certain records where the law requires it or where we need them to honor a warranty or resolve a dispute.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and access to quote requests is limited to our staff accounts. However, no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where We Operate

QuickFixAZ is a business based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Our website is intended for visitors in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Please check back occasionally. Your continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
